The University of Alaska Fairbanks and Colorado State University have asked 10 candidates, including five Alaska residents, to be the first students in the universities’ joint professional veterinary medicine program, which will open its doors in the fall of 2015.
University of Alaska President Patrick K. Gamble informed the Board of Regents on Friday that he plans to retire June 1, 2015. Gamble was appointed president, following a national search, on June 1, 2010.
